Final Publication Design

Nature Publication

This project was based on publication and layout design. The focus was to take an article that was written on nature.com and then make it into a publication. Our publication was supposed to be visually interesting and break up the information while also providing an infographic and copyright information. For this project, I spent a considerable amount of time considering how to incorporate the concepts of cognition and psychology, which were the primary subjects of my chosen article. A silhouette of a face would be the best image to include as a motif throughout the publication. This project aided in my usage of InDesign and working with typography, including working with a rag, orphans, and widows.
